hi. had my bodywork done recently and had to get my side foils taken off. therefore i need some new ones..i went to vw for the original ones and they cost £38 which i thought was abit much for a pair of side foils. i just go for the standard ones from vw.

i wouldn't bother with a 6 branch if your looking for a increase in performance if your car is N/A. I bought one and sold it. Its not worth the money.

Yeh if he had been helpful through the deal EVEN then id say you shouldn'y pay him the extra..but especially if he's been ignoring your emails. Don't pay him!

there have been quite a few exhaust threads. Jetex and miltek have always been recommended the most. I have had miltek exhaust on my previous and current vr6 and i can't fault it. But jetex owners would say the exact same. So i don't think there's much in it tbh apart from the £££.

Hi. Before i go down the FI route i just got a few concerns. Whether i turbo or supercharger my vr..i might sell it in about 2-3 years time..for me that would be around 18k miles. So at the moment my vr has done 91k miles on a R-plate. Chains have not been done and they seem fine. At the moment i'd say my vr is worth around 3k. I would spend around 3k on FI. My question is.... at what mileage would i struggle to get around 5k for it when it comes to selling it? as i don't want to spend all this money and then find it hard to get a decent amount back. So basically how much could i sell a turbo

lol you can also see the rips on the tyre's from the rubbing. btw does anybody know the recommended tyre pressure on 205/4016's on 9j rims? -

iv got 9j rears. their 16's. ET15 i think or ET20 not sure. No spacers. tyres are 205/40/16's. Not sure how much it's lowered..here's a pic. And no they don't scrub as iv grinded the arches. But they did rub before i grinded the arches. -

lucky bugger. Defo leave them silver..look best imo. Also if you decide to sell one day..more chance of selling with the standard silver. -
yeh when i got mine fitted from a local garage..it also cost £100. I won't be getting another 6 branch though.

this is getting ideas into my head lol. Whats a begi fmu? There are few different garretts turbo's around. kevhaywire who has experienced a few turbo's had said on another thread that the GT3071R full boosts under 3000 rpm which is to fast imo. The GT3582 which kevhaywire runs now full boosts at 35000rpm which is more like what i want. Jim Potter,.is your turbo the same as in that link? if so in what rev range do you full boost?
