    Right Ladies & Gents... As it's been muted in a couple of the Threads here does anyone fancy meeting at leigh retail park by the wheatsheaf Pub sunday around 4pm ??? Just off the East Lancs A580 between Manchester & Liverpool .. Hopefully anyone from Leigh, Wigan, Bolton, Manchester, & Liverpool or the Wirral can get there (hope i haven't forgot anyone locally ) ....     Hey all... i have been reading some threads from various forums arou d the world none mention Berg Cup Kits for the Mk3 .. is that because they just don't make them ???? i really fancied something like the Mk1's have but rounded off for mk3's .. Anyone help ????

    I'm going to get one of those carbon kits and try wrapping some parts the tutorials look easy enough and it says if you have knowlege of doing glass fibre you can do this... so i will give it a go and see how small parts turn out before trying some bigger parts !! Watch this space...

    One further question ... I am smoothing my bumpers and i want a sticky vynil sticker instead of ridgid plate on one corner of the bumper if it conforms to the reg plate size and type face with the spacing etc can i have it ??? Anyone know where i can get one made ???? or could i have it painted onto the bumper instead ?????

    Hmmmm i just had my suspension lowered 2 weeks ago and hte ride side front creeks a lot sounds like the sprink is being wound up... Should i assume my bearing has gone their too ? Also want to know what sring top mounts should i get to lower the front further my car is an M reg Ob2 coilpack version not sure what size they are 80mm ????? HELP !!! Thanks

    Just had the chap from VW turbo get me the prices for carbon strips ... there's issues with the flexibility of the plastic that mean it's a custom set that requires smoothing £300.00 or moulds made and them made from scartch and bonded to the body work... I haven't given it much though which to go for but he's open to a group buy for the rubbing strips which would bring costs down massivly ... So anyone interested ????

    Just had my bumper off it's easier to take the whole lot off pop them from behind than bodge and break them from tne front !

    Just a heads up i've been talking to Alec at VW Turbo he's is going to make me some lovely carbon rubbing strips for me and that's for starters....MMMMM YUMMY !! Just posted off my rubbing stips today for my 5 door, so hopefully over the next couple of weeks i should be able to give and update on prices for anyone who's interersted, and maybe get some pictures posted as we go along... Now does anyone know who could flock my dash for me ???

    Guys & Gals ... My Instruments are on the way out :-( so rather than just get a 2nd hand replacement i wanted to know what could i replace them with ? I'd love something like the Old Astra GTE used to have ot the Newer R32... Any idea's & prices etc to do conversions would be helpful Thanks

    Can i ask what might appear a dumb question... i was thinnking of a 4wd swap later in the year after other jobs have been done... Could i not use the FR chassis from a Leon Cupra they are based on mk4 golfs i believe or take the S3 running gear lock stock ???? I'd rather buy the lot as a whole than bit by bit...
