I picked my VR up on the 14th August with a fresh MOT. This week the Brake pad wear warning light has started to come on occasionaly when starting up. This is the first time i have really drove her as on picking it up i went on holiday so she was parked up for a couple of weeks. I dont over brake when driving and i tend to slow down using the gears and clutch. Would the pads have worn that much since the MOT(no advisory) and what are the best pads to put on. Thankyou Sean. Ps. The brakes have just started to squeak on braking :@
I have forgotten about fuel consumption. I drive a 4.2 Landcruiser and a LT35 for work. Then i get my new Baby :-d I am too scared to look at the fuel gauge, reminds me of being 17 again and putting a fiver in the tank every other day except inflation and age has taken its toll?
I would like to attend please. Sean. To be honest i dont think my car would be good enough for your stand as the paint work has some chips and blemishes and the wheels need a refurb. The interior is pretty neat though. Perhaps i could have a quick drive through position :-p
:-( Sorry i missed the show, one of my lads was poorly so i stayed at home. Will definitly attend the next VR6o event. Even if its a thousand miles away i will be there Sean.
Was going to go to Santapod but if you got room for The Wife, 2 Boys, me and the car we would like to attend Saturday and Sunday. Wont be camping as we only live down the road........'ish. Cheers Sean.
matt and bel's beetle - named "bod" for some reason :-d It stuck out a mile so i had to take a photo. Reminded me of my first and only ever Beetle. I was given it when i was around 11 or 12 just to play with. I cleaned and polished it all through the summer holidays and at the end my Father sold it. I got £20. Gutted. I was scarred for life because he sold it :-d
