    I have spent so much time cleaning my car since owning her ( 3 1/2 days ) that i think i know every inch. I have just noticed that i have no door locks, only one on the tailgate. The car has central locking. My question is when the battery runs out on the fobs how do i unlock my doors :-d Surely i am not that daft and missing the obvious...........dont answer that

    After my holiday i am going to start making a few alterations, my intention is to go subtle but it wiil probably end up being major. First will be to lower . I dont know how much the seats cost as they were already present when i bought her, i did not know but the interior has been re trimmed so i guess they are not standard.

    I think they were a Pipercross/K'n'N agent. They were very friendly and helpfull though. I think i will stick to a BMC as i read all your posts/replys and feedback on them and they sound very good. I also read the post on how to fit them but i think it wise to take it to someone who knows what they are doing :-p

    Cheers ^ ^ Trouble is i want everything now, which is really the kid in me. SPOILT :-d When you want things looking right and the niggly bits stick out like a sore thumb. Is it cheaper to refurb wheels or buy new/better ones? Sean. (permanant grin)

    Thankyou . I was thinking it needs lowering, either need some new rims first or referb the excisting as they are very corroded.

    Thankyou ^^, i found a couple of places in Wellingborough that seem very good, got some 6 by 9's wired in by a audio company and found a performance centre on the same industrial estate. Supply and fit a Pipercross cold air induction kit for £250. Reasonable? I did ask for a CDA but they said they are very similer. I just looked out the window and its stopped raining, so a quick wash and i will take some photos. Of the car, not me

    So here it begins, you will all probably be sick of the sight of me soon as i know very little about engines and all i do is ask questions. :$ Where would the best garage/shop be for me to buy bits for my VR6. I would like to start with a BMC CDA induction kit and a different back box and maybe a de-cat pipe but not sure on the best exhaust systems.Do spark plugs make a difference to the engines performance/responce. I live on the border of Northants and Cambs.

    I went out again lastnight for a drive, up and down the A14, around Thrapston and all the villages, back down the A14, back up the A14 etc. Like you say...where did the fuel go. I said to my wife i wont be long, the best 2 hours driving i can honestly say i have ever done When the clouds clear i will post some photos. My mouth hurts from all this smiling. I was up at 7 this morning giving her a wash and polish. ITS BLOODY AMAZING.

    I picked up my first VR6 today (pictures when it stops raining). Words cannot express the feeling i got when driving her. A smilie is the best summary. WOW. I am just popping out for a drive.

    Without wanting to sound like a right plum but as you can guess i am a newbie/novice to the VR6. How can i find out exactly what model/engine mine is. I am getting her tomorrow from a dealer. M reg 2792cc and that is all i know Except the cost
