    the point was made to debate this further in an adult manner, to say someones comments are stupid or silly i think is unhelpful, of course maybe im wrong but there are ways of saying it arent there?.........i thought it was just a debate ...........i will be the first one to apologise for anything ive said or done , and maybe its wrong to expect the same from others............... :-(

    Received and understood, i would have no problem with any moderators deleting this thread, my only point to what you said would be that he called my comments stupid in public so why not apologise in public?......that said i dont want any animosity between me and anyone else, after all we are supposed to be enjoying ourselves arent we.................... :-p

    No it isnt, i just believe that you cant say someone has made a stupid comment without either backing up why it was stupid or allowing the other person to explain their point. Maybe im old fashioned in my beliefs but if i say something to someone and they found it offensive i would apologise and explain why i said it. I think that even if i did think someones comments were stupid i wouldnt say it. There are ways of talking to people and i beleive Mr Craggsy fell below what i would call decent behaviour especially as he is a moderator and other members look to moderators to set an example......

    So these tyres are recommended then? Does anyone know roughly how long these ones would last, i have uniroyal rainsport these are good tyres but very expensive........................ :-p

    They are normally quite hard when at normal operating temperature, as the temperature increases then so will the pressure, you should be able to squeeze then slightly but not much ( care obviously needed !)................ :-p

    Well PHM my point was that if you arrest me for any offence then you have to be whiter than white , you cant yourself speed then do me for speeding?......any policeman cant take the moral high ground if they are guilty of the same thing, my point was merely to evoke debate not to offend your personally. Yes of course most cars can break the speed limit, but people drive fast cars to drive fast dont they?......i dont get your point on jealosy , and your communism jibe was a bit ott, but if these comments were also made to evoke discussion then point taken.     Ive just bought some coilovers from the group buy, they arrived today and look quite good, im hopefully going to fit them this weekend. They were a good price as well £400 for my raddo (£360 for golfs) but obviously performance is more important than looks so we'll see how well they cope with some vigorous driving....................... :-p

    then why buy a car thats capable of more than twice the legal limit?................the world is full of hypocrasy...........good coppers are worth thier weight in gold, i know a lot of coppers in my area (dont ask me why) and most of them are decent people, but where human beings are involved there is always going to be good and bad people, whether its the police or any other job...............lets hope PHM that your one of the good ones...................... :-p

    Mmm may be an idea to get someone to follow you to see when its smoking, on hard acceleration then it'll be the rings, if its on lift off then more likely valve stem/guides/seals, if its all the time then b*llocks it'll be £££............do you know if its been looked after or did the person that sold it to you have a burberry cap?................ :-p

    i think of it as more of a sociable club, i havent had to ask too many technical questions cos so far i havent had any probs, and your right it is, it started as primarily a golf vr6 site then they expanded it too all vr6's.................. :-p

    i had a peugeot 205 1.9 and when it was nicked i told the rozzers on the phone and the bloke at the other end just laughed at me !!....."Oh we get loads of them stolen......"...........i got his number made a complaint and he apologised to me in person ........t#at.............. :-p

    mine did the same the other day but only from cold once warm it went away i put it down to a stuck hydraulic tappet or lifter whatever its called, dont know if this could be the same....................... :-p
