    Only messing mate, highline colour war lol! It is not alot of hard work with the right tools. There is a diy thread on the premium members section, I used that once and was quite handy. Is it currently on coilvers or standard lowering dampers and springs? Again I am sure someone will swap their std suspension for these, I know I would.

    looking good, shame abou tthe colour though, never mind at least it's a vr. I am sure forum members will be happy to swap their standard wheel for those, also suspension wise it will ride alot better but it will be high in the sky like a 4x4 lol, maybe go 25mm lowring kit not that harsh but still comfy??     Good point mate, the MOT dude said it had too much play when he put the bar under wedged the wheel up, my front shocks were knackered anyways so I changed the lot. Oh and he also made me remove the sunstrip as he said it was too low. Talk about picky!

    Did you use the old mounts? Mine failed MOT because of this back in Jan, so I replaced all with genuine vw mounts incl bearings and they now sit right.

    If you referring to polo 9N onwards then they are 5x100, older polo are 4x100 so they would not fit. I ran 225/45/17 on the rears of my wifes old 9N and they use to rub alot, so it would have to be 205/45/16 for the fronts however the rears would go on.

    Yeah that is a good idea, so what sorta wheels I could land myself for £500 ish, I really like the RH Zw's I think they are called but they are around £800 ish for a decent set. I would like something a little less common. Thanks for the response

    Hello guy's, I have had these comps since December and they were up for sale, however the prospective buyer has not collected since then and I am thinking I should stick them on car?? OR keep the current R32 rep's?? Pics of them both....... PS: The TT comps are not as shiny as the previous ones I had on the car, nothing a bit of elbow grease can't sort out The R32 reps are differentfrom the norm hence the poll. Thanks Guy's...

    Alright then, went down to TPS, what a load of bull! Firstly they have the syntha gold so I bought that, secondly the prices are the same as VW Southgate! When I rang up the lad on the phone gave me a price was reluctant to help any further saying if it's not trade then I need to purchase over the counter, and when I got there I guess they gave me non trade prices? So basically paid £27 for 5 litres of syntha gold, they did not have any 1 litre bottles cause they don't stock em, secondly could not help with the oill filter.     The lower you go the more shite the ride is going to get irrespective of the setup, obviously expensive kits will be a little more subtle but still harsh. When I got my car it was standard and there was not a sigle interior part that had a rattle, now that it has been lowered 60mm the ride is very harsh and interior rattles away almost all the time, I hate that. Also for me colies were not an option primary reason was budget but apart from that I will never adjust them cause I don't have the time lol.

    Correction it is only Quantum gold rang vw and they confirmed this.
