  3. Hello, hoping someone can advise..... Do you have to take the front off the car to change the rocker cover on a V5? looks as if it needs to come off as the inlet manifold bolts face to the front of the car..... Any help appreciated, thanks guys and girls And sorry for putting this in the wrong section :-( still havent worked out how to do it right....
  4. Cant see it being a fuel issue, i have done far too many miles and filled up at too many different petrol stations for it to be that. not sure the fuel filter has ever been changed though lol!! not sure if your is the same but when mine is spluttery it revs up slower and wont want to go over 5k revs either....
  5. I have had low range splutter on and off for nearly five years now, no nearer to finding the issue, changed leads, coil pack and plugs, no joy, it just does it.... learning to live with it now.... If you do find the issue on yours, let me know please!!

  11. Was driving behind a lorry on the M40 last night and got 37.2 to the gallon on the display!!!
  12. My views if you want them Myself and my boy had a great time and at no point in the two nights and one full day was there nothing to do, which for both of us was great. We were a bit confused over the show and shine, but hey ho, no big deal and didnt take anything away from the weekend whatsoever. Everyone was there to have fun and chill out and show their cars (apart from mine, it was filthy and I am glad I parked it right at the end!) It was great that quite a few non VR6OC people came looking too. Also what i liked was that everyone seemed to be completely chilled out and there was no shout
  13. Not sure if it helps but I did have an electrical issue and cannot remember what it was, but resolving it was a case of getting my hand up above the fuses and making sure all the relays are pushed in nice and tight. There are a few above where you can see too from memory. With lowered cars, I reckon the relays work loose over time with all the extra bumping they get. May be worth a try? Hope it helps?
  14. Great weekend, me and the annoying one had a real nice chilled out time. Thanks to everyone, you are all great ;-) and well done to the organisers too :-)
  15. German engineering ey, thought these cars were built to last :-) haha!!
  16. mine does this too sometimes, I start the engine and the noise stops... assumed it was the fuel pump or something!! learn something new every day!!
  17. looking good mate, you sound like you have worked really hard on this, so well done :-)
  18. sorry to mention it, but weather looking not too bad for the weekend!!! Could be worse!!!
  19. OK, am even more tempted now you mentioned lush food!!
  20. my fuel gauge never goes past 7/8ths so I never know how much i have left in the tank, but I have done countloess 260 miles drives on one tank at motorway speeds, and totally agree with above comments too :-)
