Just wanted to let you know the car is sorted (touch wood) and would like thank Helen (hvr6) for the pipe saved me loads dale for popping up to help and for everyones imput. Thats what its all about thankyou.

Nick the climatronic is the one I have, does this mean the air con one is no good for me, coz Helen has got one spare she said I could have it and its from her highline with air con

Is it ok to use a water hose from a vr with air con on a vr with climatronic. Its the hose that goes from the bulk head to the heater behind the dash and branches of to the throttle body. Its just VW said they are different, all help welcome.

Its at brands hatch (obviously) about 200 german cars show up mostly vdubs have a chat check out the cars and the fly home :-d But I may not be there as my car as just pi**ed out loads of water everywhere :-(

After driving for about 20 mins I stopped at a round about and steam was coming from under my bonnet. When I pulled up Steam was goming from every where.Under the bonnet water had splashed out all over the air filter box and all over the manifold hence all the steam as its dark I cannopt see where it has come from, has this happened to any one or do you know what it could be................... thanks in advance :-(
