Yeah, that was the first thing i checked. When i go to stop reverse the car feels as though the wheels have stopped then there is a very short delay before the chassis does...and the opposite scenario when i pull away.

Today i noticed that the front end of my car is clunking abit. The symtoms are: -Clunking and slight movement when reversing and braking -Slight movement and clunking when pulling off. -Clunking noise from what appears to be near the front end somewhere when at low speed. Any ideas? Thanks.

Ive had a bit of a set back...my wheels couldnt be fitted due to not having a set of the right wheel bolts (so ive ordered some from VW £40) and now i have a nasty clunking coming from the front end :S

As there quite a few of us meeting @ junction 19 on the M5 and convoying down to the showground, i was hoping that i could have everyones mobile numbers and 'real' names that are meeting me and Gary there. Did they take the rear window out to do it, if so you should have got one without the gromet holes. Does look good though. Im personally not a fan of tinted windows on the mk3, but it looks tidy.

Over the last two days ive been trying to get my wheels finished, get my car finished and it was my g/f's birthday, so its been a bit crazy. I dont think the wheels will be on this weekend so its going to be a tight squeeze to get them done in time for Volksfest. Anyway, an update. 2nd June: Bumperless- being resprayed Bonnet and front bumper being resprayed Spraying in action (Yes no booth ) Bare front end. -

30th May. Now after a difficult decision about my wheels i decided to bite the bullet and try and polish my TT's myself (the inners) as nobody wanted to touch them. Now i knew they would never look as good as Sals, Binliners or Sankys, but i just want them on my car. So if you remember what they looked like when i bought them, this is where im upto now. Needless to say my arms hurt, my fingers are swolen, and i think my hands will be stained for a while to come. But im pretty pleased with how things have gone really. Heres the pics. Mine idles around 600-800rpm. -
