  5. i dont know, your putting an R32 engine into a corrado, and you get asked about the wiper blades :-d the wiper blades/arms are off a lupo gti, you have to order 2 drivers side units from vw.

  7. if you cant get it fixed?? the whynot servive station can do a pucker job of bleeding the system, they did mine when i fitted the brembo's. it turned out that i could not get enough pressure into the system to bleed the master cylinder properly. i was also using a gunson eazibleed kit.

  9. dont worry Alex, there will be pics galore. Along with loads of swearing, blood, and tools been thrown everywhere. why do we do such things??? karl and i have just read about you asking if i have bought the charger already, and yeh i bought it from TTS ages ago, but its going back and being replaced with another model, just gotta make my mind which model to go for??

  11. hi Kev, yeh the £1500 does sound a bit steep?? but it does include the emerald ECU, with a base map on it so the car will start/run, and then i can drive it down to them so they can get it on there rollers for some fine tuning. i have already got the alfa TB for a tenner from a local scrappy. i'm also pretty sure the loom will be pre-terminated, i'm popping down there next week so i can have a proper chat with them, so will also ask about the coil per plug kev. cheers karl

  14. i'm gonna be starting my R32 conversion soon, but i want a standalone ECU as the R32 will soon be charged (6) Storm have quoted me £1500 for supplying an Emerald ECU that will also be spliced into the engine loom, so all i have to do is attach all the engine plugs, power up the ECU, and off i go. is there anybody else that people would trust to do this?? and anybody closer to Birmingham than Storm. thanks karl
  15. strictly dubs stock the schimmel leads, dont quote me on it but i'm sure they cost approx £110 from them.
  16. i have been using the dubpower ones for about 6months, and they are miles better than the magnecors that were in the car before. the idle on the car is loads better, and the car does feel more lively low down.
  17. mine was 296bhp running 8psi, should be more with the upcoming turbo/rotrex. and yeh the V1 is the one you want if you want a whiney (is that a wore???)

  20. dont forget about the rotrex chargers also, you can get them upto about 26psi.
  21. yeh sorry my bad :-# when i rang stealth last week about getting a reinz gasket, vince told me that elring even make the reinz gaskets???
  22. as said before, the rotrex will easily bolt onto the r32, but the bracket/belt will be no good from the 12v. theres a company in holland called R-TECH that do the brackets/belts at a very good price, its about £320 for evrything. i'm doing my rotrex conversion in the new year, c30-94 with approx 18psi (6) when/if my 12v goes pop?? i have an R32 lump waiting in my garage to go in.
