    How early do you need to book hotels/rooms for this ? I am hearing they fill up pretty fast !

    A trip to ireland would actually be awesome. Never been there myself but here the people welcome everyone and are very friendly. Would also like to see some more on the continent. Perhaps MIVW ? Worthesee ? I see there are already plans for a Worthesee trip

    Looks awesome Pete, looks lik eyou have loads of room back there to ! Sadly I live in a modern house and the garge is barely big enough to get a car into. Once inside you have no option but to bash car door to wall in the effort of getting out. Therefore my car is at my parents house tucked up in their garage instead :-)

    Not a huge fan of the new consoles. Not the leap forward everyone expected and their Demos they were parading around are nothing like the actual releases. Take Forza 5 for example. The intital gameplay looked outstanding, but compare it to the actual game and there is an enormous difference. Textures are poor, shadows are jagged, roads have no textures, just plain and flat. Reflections are totally different. Here are some examples...     I have heard many horror stories about them. The worst of which, but also sadly quite common is the bearing going to hell and getting sucked into the engine.... That is something you really don't want to be happening. The VR has always been expensive to get power from. For a Turbo set up you need to spned upwards of £3k to get something that you can trust and be reliable. Best bang for buck is a supercharger, but for overall power output, then Turbo is the way to go. What you scrimp on now, will only end up costing you a small fortune I'm afraid.

    Ah, ok no worries. Didn't realise it was booking up so soon. Will certainly get some more info about the car up in the readers rides thread, especially as I have some bits to do over the winter to get it closer to finished

    Just an observation really, but just wondering why VR6OC doesn't appear to attend certain shows ? From what I can see, unless there is a drag strip, the club doesn't seem interested in making a presance ? It might just be my imagination and I am not as active as I once was, but a glance in the Events section there appears to be nothing mentioned about many of the upcoming shows in the next month or 2 and very little that has gone on before in the year either. Perhaps there is just no interest in these shows with this club anymore ? Is it a conscious decision ? Or just something that has been

    Oh, forgot to say, I really do like the idea of having trips out around the countryside as opposed to just regular shows which we all know can become tedious seeing the same cars year in year out. Much boils down to cost though as was pointed out in the opening post, with the recession hitting us and it's not like we drive the most economical cars do we ? haha.

    Looks good for the new year. I will hopefully attend a lot more shows this year. I said at the turn of last year that I would get to more shows this year and I still plan on it :-)

    I have been pretty lucky so far ! Only a broken wrist that has taken me to hospital. Did have a bone sticking out through the skin though ! Makes the hairs on my neck stand up when I think about it ! Hope all goes well pete ;-)

    Not sure I like the new design. The last one took quite a bit of getting used to but this one I think is a step further forward in a direction that, to the eye at least appears more of a bulletin board than a forum ? Everything looks big and bulky and has bright colours etc... Also no way at a glance from the main forum pages to see any of the last posts in those sections. All there is, is a highlights section on the right hand side. IMO it would be better to have wider columns and include that information and maybe lose the highlights section or make it far smaller/less bulky ? It's all just

    I like most music to be fair and Dubstep is amongst them I don't like the hard stuff, but much the same as you prefer the mellow tunes. That chicks voice on your link is awesome ! Love it... Here is another you might like if you like that sort of thing.

    You certainly have some skills ! What an awesome looking car. Would love to have the skill set to be able to do things like that myself, but sadly I don't so I gotta pay others to do it :-( Air ride is my next step to ! How do you find it comfort wise ? Mark.

    So this will show you how long I have been out of the game ! lol... What Oil are people using for their VR's these days ? One Car has done just over 81k and the other 145k. I used to use Syntha Silver (???) but seem to remember it might have been discontinued ? I also remember that it was actually to thin for the VR as the miles started to rack up ? So what do people use ? Thanks Mark.
