  1. Haha nice jake!, hopefully see you at the shows!!
  2. I suppose even if its still flowing, it just maybe too much of a restriction.
  3. i have circled in pink here a kink in the return.....was there when we took it off of jakes vento..... maybe, just maybe?.....
  4. Ok thanks guys, so is that the right avenue to take?, assume the seal is probably ok at first, but we may have a pressure build up problem?, i think i'll clean it up and bolt it back up like Tony said, and keep an eye on it to verify oil is being pushed past the seal. if its something that doesnt get worse or too bad i may leave it till after UD. My progress with getting it show ready has been thwarted by some problems at home, and so could really do without this oil leak. Was also trying to get the bay sorted but seems a little pointless with oil squirting about .
  5. Mile wise I'd say it might have done 1000?, as for restrictors I don't know, was unbolted from jakes vento and straight onto mine, the return is into a boss welded to the front if the sump
  6. Constant pressure I would say, straight off the filter housing
  7. Used to use places like api and scoobyclinic etc, do find the prices at these specialists a little over inflated, when maybe a local hydraulic company or suchlike would do it to the same standard for fun
  8. What kind of place would be able to fit a new seal if I get the the charger off?
  9. Oh poo, hope this isn't going to be a disaster this close to UD....., I'll try and have a look tomorrow night
  10. Ok you're on, i'll need you to help clean please And can you make toasties?
  11. OK, this pic illustrates quite well that it looks like the oil is coming from the bottom side of the seal..... There is no oil sprayed about with force anywhere, i mean none on the bonnet or belt, or on the engine block or bracket, just on the charger near the seal, underside of the charger, and its very wet on the chassis leg, under the charger, engine oil level is slightly down. I think this must have happened in the last 100 miles or so, and i have done nothing untoward to cause it i dont think.... This pic shows underneath the charger, the oil return i believe, it doesnt look like it has
  12. Right I have taken the headlight out so I can see under the charger, yes it's wet down there but I'm pretty sure the hoses are ok, it's all pointing at the seal, I'll get a pic or two up shortly
  13. I do still have the spare seal, it's wet at the bottom of the new one that Bungy fitted, but maybe not as wet as it should be, the chassis leg issoakin maybe a hose has gone...?
  14. Oh, forget to say, i can either get cheese in or arrange some
  15. Ok i havent asked before specifically but many of you have been awesome in helping me out with my VR . But here i am, requiring help in time for UD....... Just took my car to a bodyshop, to organise the wheel refurb and a couple of touch ups, popped the bonnet to show the nice Supercharger, and was greeted by oil..... sprayed about, mainly downwards for some reason...?. Well as it stands this is a problem, oil level seems to be ok, and it looks reminiscant of the oil spray/leak that was apparent in jakes vento the day we took the charger off, those of you there will remember, and Bungy did a g
  16. Good news Helen, and a nice post . Glad he is doing well and you have had the support there to help you through, brighter times ahead, and i'm sure they are welcome!.
  17. You'll need to do more than flutter eyelashes haha!, c'mon what time did you get?
  18. Prob should run mine , what time did you get?
  19. There is a common spot where a grommet rusts around itself, under the rear bench, think there are 2 actually, maybe that, I have had a wet bench because of one before which surprised me... Do yours could be the same kinda thing, just a different grommet?
