Hi to all the vr6 owner who made the journey to the bitterly cold but sunny day at reebok,nice turn out, with some stunning looking cars. Would of like to see the rest of the photos tinny,but there was nout showen up on my computer.See you all soon ,Bugsy. (Next time ill bring a coat i think).

It sounds like is missing 3rd,4th & 5th. Mines a auto and mine dose 80 mph in 2nd.

i would'nt bother with a decat, what gains you get at top end you will lose out at the bottom end with lack of back pressure,so you will have to wate till 4000 rpm before you notice anything. Better saven your money up and getting a rolling road and remap with your standard cat.If you can afford it get some 268 cams. if your deadset on a decat or hiflow cat try pipewerX.com.good look pal.

should be 280 disc quick way to tell have a look through your wheel at caliper if it has a big retainer spring to tension caliper they are 288

is there a way to make the fluid fly wheel lock in sooner on vr boxs mine dont lock in untill about 3000 revs through gears until i hit top gear then it locks in at 1500 rpm 35 mph.it feels like its working properly but as you know there is alot of power from 1000 to 3000 which i feel i am wasting through slipage. is there a diesel auto box i can use or any revalving options, and before you say just convert to manual it aint an option. any one fitted a dsg box to their vr of later vags.

o.k mate think this might help gues you have checked fuses and all that. check fuses in fan relay situated below header tank check for corrosion to contact coz water from fillin header tank and over flow can cause these relays to biff up. they look tike a rectangle black box with a clear plastic cover over two 10 amp fuses usually some wd or contact cleaner does the job if not a new relay is £90.00 from vw. as for the thermostat they are not hard to do if you want to know how i will post some pics from my book.

i think if you look from underneath there is an extra partition used more volume also i think the throttle body linking part of the manifold is slightly different. r u looking 4 an up grade or replacement
