    Just like to add, VW gave me my car back with the cap on the head tank only a quarter turn in ~ ~ , and my mfa computer thingy doesn't work anymore ~ ~ ~ . F*cking VW twats

    I believe that early 95(m) models and before are just plugged in. Later 95(n) models are soldered

    fit it your self, they are easy to do. Just watch for static electricity, touch something metal just before you touch the pcb on install.

    I think it's coming from the chain side, but it's going into the garage this weekend. It's my daily drive so need it tip top shape. I'll get the guy to check it out asap, don't fancy the chain slipping on me.

    I developed a undetermined rattle coming from the engine at low rpm's. It's not an overly loud rattle but I'm concerned. !sad If i throttle gentle while at stand still I can hear the rattle kick in about 1500rpm then dissapears about 2500rpm. Due to engine noise I can't hear it above 2500rpm. Also reappears while reving down in the same range. I only noticed after pulling away quite fast last friday and it's really bugging me. ~ Has anyone get any advise to what it might be (chains, valves, etc.).

    HI, sorry if this has been discussed before but after reading through all the threads in this forum I'm still clueless on what suspension kit to go for. I'm currently running 15s and I'm looking to drop my VR between 30 - 40mm. Coilovers are out of my price range at the moment, so I need some advise on the suspension kits. I'm looking for a good mix of improved handling and comfort and don't want to break the bank. What are the best kits out there? What kits should I avoid with a passion (definite no-no's)? If you have a link to a website post it here. Any advise and your previous experiences
