  4. Hi peeps, I just bought a stainless steel Jetex system for my mk 3 golf and i have to say what an absolute pile of crap it is to fit it. I've been at the exhaust place for the last 3 hours trying to get it to fit right. We've heated it to try and bend it, we've tried different rubbers, we've had it unbolted and bolted back up about a hundred times and we've now had to resort to using a cable tie on one of the hangers to try getting it to fit right and this is the result I'm at my wits end with it now. Has anyone got any advice on what to do now? Would a custom exhaust place like powerflow l
  5. I've done this headlight mod you're talking about and smoothed bumper and i decided to change back to proper indicators and fogs. There isn't a lot of room in the headlights for the indicator bulbs so i used side repeater bulbs but you could hardly see them flashing even at night. I just drilled a hole in the back section and wedged them in. If i were to do the smoothed bumper again i would get something like the In-pro headlights with the proper indicators in them and just remove the orange filters. Personally i prefer to just smooth out the lines and plate recess and keep the fog/indicator u
  6. i dont i'm afraid as it was on a non airbag wheel. It was just the 2 wires touching. I just wrapped each connection in tape so i didn't get metal to metal contact
  7. Lol! The same thing happened to me a while back after fitting a new wheel except i ended up in town before the pesky horn kept going off at random. Suprised i didn't end up getting a kicking off one of the several annoyed drivers who thought i was beeping at them

  11. Is this stuff needed to protect the paint on the bonnet from heat? Mine has been rubbing on my engine cover and has made it look awful. I'm gonna repaint the cover so i was wondering if i could bin the soundproofing Thanks in advance

  14. spoiler is off so i could get on the ramp to get the camber etc sorted out. I'm lokking for a new one actually as mine is scratched badly. Can anyone recomend somewhere that sells good quality ones? Are GPC any good? Cheers
