    i have these wheels and run 15mm front and 20mm rear hubcentric spacers no rubbing ,and still not filling arches properly

    what are the best uprated top mounts,were to get ,how much. or just get new std.not keen on standard as they dont last 5 min ,any views on this. also looking to get suspention kit what is good,whats bad.

    was thinking of the same thing recently. is it possible to fit maybe a turbo deisel box ,or is it cheaper to change the final drive ratio,or even a differant 5th gear.for lower rpm at moterway speed,as this should give better mpg also.

    yeh was looking at getting hubcentric bolt on spacers,or with the correct longer bolts. weres the best plce to get these,on a buget

    looking to uprate the front lower arm bushes,and top mounts float about,had powerflex before on my raddo and were ok just never realy seemed to fit 100%. also best place to buy

    got to be the bbs.i have the bbs rx2 ,just need a little bit of spacing in my opinion,but mine are 6.5j et43 16 inch,and look like they need to fill arch more.nice wheels,should have been standard on vr6s.

    i have 15"+16" alloys both et43,what size spacers can i fit without arch rubbing,not lowerd ,yet,std suspention. whats the best value kits to get front and rear. just what to fill the arches,to reliable max.

    check your new spark plugs,is poss that the gap could been closed on install,did this misfire before new plugs and leads

    think you would need to change tyre size from 45 to40 profile to clear arches of mk3

    hi will those bushes fit a golf vr6 97 highline,as mine are gone ,was going to get powerflex ect

    took it to the firm and there snap on machine said--right front sensor-double checked with them,and they were sure it was the drivers side-o/s/f,have now changed,both front,and light still intermitantly coming on.if i cant sort it i may sell it,what are they worth at the moment,its a r-97-metalic black 3dr golf vr6 highline,with 77000mls,and mint

    hi my abs light, comes on intermitantly some drives no light at all,other times its on all the time. have had diagnostic computer connected,and it showed front right sencor intermitant signal,so got a new sensor from g.s.f.--fitted to o/s/f,as this was the side they confirmed was at fault.also checked the plugs and wiring looks o.k. was o.k. for a few drives then came back on again.so i fitted another sencor to the other side n/s/f.wiring looks o.k. ,but again light on intermitantly. need to sort it anyone got any ideas,is there a common fault i can sort or check,could it be the pump or abs ec

    sounds like the clutch is worn out or try bleeding the slave on top of gearbox 1st,also drain out old g/box oil and fill with thinner oil say 75/80w is about thinnest. hope this helps.

    hi think my alternator is over charging,has anyone had this fault and is it common. cheers.

    just fitted new plastic bush-cable holder at gearbox end and while i was there i modified the linkage for a reduced throw which now works a treat.

    think lancia did this with rally prototypes,as you say hard to get setup.

    hi my top mounts seem shagged with car of ground you can lift the strut up and down about 1-2"inch ,can you get more solid types. cheers. brian.

    hi all has anyone modded there origional shifter unit,to create a shorter throw,as thinking of doing mine or poss getting a b&m unit.

    hi i have these wheels too and you need a spline socket ,male type ,size about 10mm not sure. and the outer rim does,nt come off,only center of wheel comes out of rim,with all bolts off,use a rubber malet only. also use thread lock on refitting.

    i had this fault splutter at 1-2k changed spark plugs and has been ok since,also cleaned connections on coilpack. worked for me ,may have been a failing plug?
