  1. remember to refit abs rotors from inside of old discs on to new, or your abs light will come on,this is what your abs sensor reads when wheel is turning
  2. i wouldnt worry about it mate my the pump on mine has a loud buzzing when standing at the back or side for the last 4 years lol ,i was worried about it way back asked a few specialists who confirmed some older pumps are noisy ,checked my fuel pressure and it was spot on,try to forget it, if it is faulty it soon let you know ,if your cars running ok best to leave it alone.

  4. no its straight forward only the bottom hose can be akward to remove from the top of the engine bay,so if you cant get it you will have to jack the car up for this part of the job
  5. ive done it twice from the front ,remove headlights,but you do not need to totally remove bumper and crossmember ,unbolt the bumper and slide it forward, this will allow you to access crossmember bolts slacken these to allow it to slide forward about an inch and that gives you the clearance to remove, refit new rad.

  7. sounds like poor fitting mate i had a miltek for 4 years with no probs ,but they do drone like you say between 2-3 ,if your on the motorway cruising in fifth can sound like your in 3rd at these revs .

  10. in my experience of golfs over 15 years pay the extra and get the koni adjustable kit readily in golf mags at 320 quid superb value , had on my vr for three years now , changed top mounts on mine last week and front shocks feel the same as the day i put them on.

  12. i had this problem until i took car to star performance where the problem was found to be faulty hall sender switch. my car ran great till warmed up then noticibly fell in power as it got to normal temp your best bet is to give to someone with a rolling road to solve the problem as my local dealer had my car three days and could not find a problem ?

  16. iv;e tried all these tyres and found the uniroyals to edge it
  17. my mate had a nova with a 270bhp calibra engine in it ,it was so fast it tore the front inner wings apart enough said lol and again lol
  18. my vr now has 150k on it .still has 190 bhp ,and i had car on track a few times this year lol.if its a good engine dont be scared to use it ,i know a guy with 257k on his vr and he drives it hard

  22. i have a mk2 16valve 155bhp great cars i also had another valver for 10 years and a mk1 gt1 for5 years
  23. new ate discs .not bad discs also toyos proxes
  24. you should be ok mate if offset right i have koni lowering kit on mine [40mm] and have tsw 17s with no probs rubbing
