    Well after 2 months and 1 day since my crash, I drove my VR. I obviously forgot what they sounded like and went like!!!! But lets say that I now have a smile on my face again. Its not quite right yet still need a wing and a front bumper and fluid container for air con. But i can drive it again.

    Head out towards Southam care3ful tho as when you get there i usually drive by coz i'm not concentrating as its just round a corner

    I have climate in my standard VR. Miles is not a problem as most were used up and down motorways so nice and easy on the engine....oh and mines coming to 116k and no problems

    Rings are on when side lights are on and they stay on when on main beam and full

    How do I do this. As i've just put a carbon fibre bonnet on and don't want to start cutting it. So 2 options....1 is having the jets under the lip of the bonnet facing windscreen obviously or.....2 is have them on the wiper arms. So what do I need to do this, or what cars have the jets on the wiper arms as i know that Lupos have the jets under edge of bonnet. Or do I just get rid of them all together, which means dirty windows and not seeing to well. HELP!!!!!!!

    No....mines still in the boot. I think they just absorb vapours from fuel tank. The 2 pipes on top, black one needs blocking off and feed t'other one down wing as it vents fuel vapour

    There is a black canister by the fluid container down near drivers side of front bumper/wing. It has 2 tubes going in to it. just take it out and route pipework for cold air thro there

    IF you have air con then remove carbon canister if you don't have air con then in front of carbon canister as there is a gap

    But if you know VR's you don't mess with em.....I can just about tell between other golfs now

    I nearly fainted today when I went in the Leicester branch.....someone knew what they were talking about, had a good chat with him as he owns a silver VR with quite a few mods to engine. Seemed like an ok bloke, just hope he's staying there as it will make life easy

    I tok front badge off but left back one on....as its nearly black and i think it looks subtle

    its just an enclosed air filter at the end of the day....which is what it is when standard
