mileage wont kill an engine like the vr (drivin it hard wont kill it ). the lump doesnt run in till around 80k. if looked after then it will go well past 250k !amazed -
just bin chased down the m60 by 2 306 gti's ( 306 gti club written across the windscreen) hit 125mph with out even noticing. god i love my vr. i don't make a habit of doin this sort of thing, but you have to give it a blast every now and again. !amazed

any1 running nos? what bhp nos can you put through the engine without mods? i know you can put 200bhp nos through a vauxhall v6 without any mods !amazed

love xjr's. shame they don't do a manual. in my line of work i manage to get my hands on alot of nice cars. couple of months ago i had to go to a porsche dealer to pick up to boxters s's. on the way back to the auction, the guy in the other 1 put his foot down at a round about, but i couldn't get away in time. i was doin over 120mph when i got back behind him. got a evo 6 tommy to over 80mph on site, and a m5 to about the same (both have very good brakes) !amazed

i got to drive a 04 reg gt tdi on a transport job the other week, the trip was about 30 so miles. off the motorway it just reach'd 50.3mpg sh*t hot fast too. its the future, i'v tasted it !amazed

sell it, it will prob cost you 3000 euros just to get it over here, and you'll never get that money back in england. !amazed

had to drive my vr home from work last month, didn't have any insurance, so was goin really careful (out of manchester city centre, in traffic) just reach'd 30 mpg !amazed

did every1 see that policeman in the news last week? what was it? oh yeah, 159mph on a public highway. but its ok he had special training. so does that mean that a traffic cop, who has bin off the job a few years, gets pull'd up for doing 159mph, get let off coz hes got special training. don't get me wrong, i do think that they hav to know how the car behaves. but no1 else cud get away with somthing like that. but this isn't what this thread is about. i'm sure that every1 in this owners club has gone over the 70mph limit 1 or 2 times. but just how far over has every1 gone. i havent got my vr

my vr is off the road at the mo, the reason for this is that hic (who im with at the mo) won't touch me til im 22 (im 21). so iv got to wait til the policy ends in june to get my third year ncb. the best 1 iv got sofar is £1150 full comp with churchill. !amazed
