  1. Will do matey. BTW, who supplied yours? GMAX haven't got back to me yet, so wondering where else to try. Bit of a pain getting em sent to Spain but hey.
  2. Fantastic info Kev, thanx very much m8. My spanner will be doing the tracking also so no probs there. Just need to make sure of how it gets done. Thanx very much and apologies for the hijack. Regards Nelson
  3. Cheers Kev. I don't really wanna go with powerflex tbh, as i've heard they harshen the ride. I've just had the front wishbone mounts done recently, so what i will probably do is get the rear ones done and get top mounts front and rear. As u say, i probably won't bother with cutting down the rears, but would love to know how u went about cuting down the fronts and by how much if thats ok. I'm not very good with my hands (some would argue otherwise LOL!!!), so it would be a matter of me explaining to my my local spanner whats involved. Could u explain it for me mate? Thanx very much for the repl
  4. i take it it's the rear ones u need? I havent managed to find any over here either, i'm gonna check out if the FK ones fit. Possibly not the best to go for but they're only a pair of bulbs at the end of the day.(Gwent VW for u i think). Regards Nelson P.S. Nice name lol
  5. The bump stops are fitted to the shocks and stop the piston from bottoming out when you hit a bump. The standard ones are made from hard foam and need to be cut down slightly because of the lower ride height of the G-Max suspension. They are worth changing as they are cheap and often perish with time. Sorry for beeing a dimwit, but are there bump stops off the shelf which don't need cutting, something from powerflex or summin. I'm thinking on GMAX myself. I just need to be able to explain to my local spanner in Spanish what to do. Cheers Nelson :$
  6. Know how you feel matey. But thats one damn fine VR i see there, even more remarkable that you own/run that on cack wages. But imagine how u would have it if you had loads to spend on it? And for that my friend, you'd probably need to get rid of her, get some training and once your in money street, get yerself another and do the business. Sounds harsh i know, but i know what your saying. I'm running a new business in a tiny town and i'm practically running her on my bread and water money, not even beer money. Lifes just not fair is it? :-(
  7. nice one m8, bloody nice 325 as well.
  8. Ah ok, cool stuff. Not hard to confuse me lol!!! Cheers for that m8.
  9. :S Is that the only solution lol? If it is then how do i go about it? I get very nervous when i think about putting a hammer to them.
  10. Finally just had mine put on, ans Steve says, the rear badges have been pushed out by the wheel bearings. Can anyone explain the best way to go about reshaping the domes?
  11. Hi guys, i've started to have some problems here. The car seems to bog down and almost cut out when i accelerate ( . Regardless of if i'm putting my foot down or normal driving. When i release it from gear it comes back to life. That said, it seems to be only after starting it, then it goes away. It's been intermitant up to now, not really had time to have a proper look yet. I did notice today that was idling a little uneven. Any ideas at all? Cheers Nel
  12. I'm about to have mine on m8, been told on here that your existing ones fit, so just a new set of the same matey.

    Toast

John O'Reilly hoisted his beer and said "Here's to spending the rest of me life, 'tween the legs of me wife!". That won him the top prize at the pub for the best toast of the night. He went home and told his wife Mary,. "I won the prize for the best toast of the night". She said "Aye, did ye now? And what was yer toast?". John said, "Here's to spending the rest of me life, sitting in church beside me wife". "Oh, that is very nice indeed, John" Mary said. The nex day Mary ran into one of John's drinking buddies on the street corner. The man chuckled leeringly and said 'John won the prize the ot
  15. I've had mine Mirror Polished and Laquered over when refurbed, no powder coating in sight. Not quite as bling as Justins, but close enuff. They set me back 320 notes and where in pretty good shape bar the kerbing. However, i have been warned about the Laquer peeling all too easy with this method, But refurbing at 35€ per wheel, i'll take the risk.
  16. Leather Re-Trim? Recaros? Light Grey Panels? What makes u think it's not a Highline Aswad?
  17. LOL!!! Yeah, was looking at that too, made me chuckle.

Left me in tears
  19. Brilliant, a classic m8, a true classic. LOL!!
  20. Really clean Jez, I love white on a VR, in fact most Golfs look nice in white, MK2,3,4 and 5. Theres a white R32 replica floating about near me and looks stunning. I would probably go for a white one next myself.
  21. There seems to be a few built on December 31st, mine et all. Highline is mentioned more often than not on all ads, even over in Germany they've picked up this rather nasty habbit.
  22. Very sweet indeed Kat. Wheels look lovely too. They're not Recaro seats i spot are they?
  23. I've just received this one, it clear winner i think. With all the sadness and trauma going on in the world right now, it is worth reflecting on the death of a very important person, which almost went unnoticed last week. Larry LaPrise, the man who wrote "The Hokey Cokey", died peacefully at the age of 93. The most traumatic part for his family was getting him into the coffin. They put his left leg in. And then the trouble started. (
  24. Matt do you reckon there would be any problems running 17's with that kit m8? Gonna be looking at suspension too soon enuff.
