    Get my license back tomorrow woo hoo! I got banned at about midday 2 weeks ago - do they do it so that its 2 weeks to the time you were banned or just the date? Will I have to wait until tomorrow to drive again!? I've managed to not drive it for 2 weeks but its killing me now!

    Anyone know where I can get a pair of platinum battery terminals - nothing wrong with mine its just that I've bought a polished battery cover and the nuts on my terminals sit on top and if I was to sit the metal cover on top I'd probably blow my car to pieces ha ha! Just after a pair that tighten horizontally & not verticaly if you see what I mean - I've tried ebay before you say it! !lol Cheers (thought i posted this in electrical soz)

    The wiring is very simple - usually just a straight swap. The price all depends on where you get them - ebays a good place to look though - they are ok quality but I've just fitted some In Pro lights and they are a much better build quality but they cost a lot more but as with anything - quality isnt cheap, you pay for what you get!

    I'm running a set of 17" BBS RX2's on my Golf & I was wondering if anyone knows if it would be possible that I could change the outside of the rims for different ones ie: dished ones? So that they'd have a dished look. Anyone ever seen this or tried it? Cheers

    Yeah - will fail the MOT but does make a difference to the performance - not a terrible to do just a bit of a pain in the backside to do it once a year!

    Not too sure wether it would help your torque curve but as your running a S/C the less back pressure you have the better I think.

    I agree that the FK fogs & Indicators although they do look good - they fog up quite quickly! Its easily solved though - just silicone them up before you fix them in that way they wont fog up. Had no probs with my Powerlooks though - Im not just saying that cos Im selling them! ha ha!

    It was meant to be! I have my FK Powerlooks on ebay at the moment Will come complete with bulbs etc saving you a bit of cash - they are in good condition condition - the passenger side lens picked up a tiny stone chip on Sunday on the way home from Ragley Hall but its just on the surface of the glass.     Fastest I've been is just under 150Mph whilst in Germany - felt stable but the back end does start hopping around on long fast bends :0)

    Ha ha! Thats a real 'Got nothing to lose' excuse! ha ha! Cheers - I will ring them right away to let them know Im not gonna be able to do online quotes for a couple of years am I! Theres worse things than speeding when asking for insurance such as a drink drive ban, no insurance - causing death etc - Im a lot more wary of my speed as a result of this and will be investing in a Road Angel or similar.     Yeah could have been a lot worse - the bloke before me was there for speeding too and he got a few months I think, dont know how fast he was going. I was trying to hear what they was saying through the door and when he walked out he didnt look happy at all so I didnt dare ask

    If I lived in your area I dont think I'd take my car their for anything! I wouldnt pay them for the part either as they have admitted that its their fault - you should both cut your losses I reckon
