  1. Give me a bargaining tool and I'll get you a a good price. So, let me know a (reasonable) price at which you would take it no questions asked - and remember, I dont think we've seen discounts of greater than 20% on here, ususally more like 10-15%, so knock the VAT off, best case. For our part though, we should just hit them with, yup, I 've got 5 guys, cash ready, and they want it now. Thats the kind of deals they'll want.
  2. My chips are now well soggy. However, FEAR NOT, I have written to AA and hope for a positive reply. Surely some of yoy guys are bass junkies? Anyone?
  3. Ok, one more time... http://www.ecstuning.com/HR/appguides/app_search.cgi?make=Volkswagen&qt=spacers&model=Golf+III&submit=Search%21
  4. Why oh why must they use quicktime? You must download the quicktime essentials package...oh, its corrupted, goodbye!!!! ~
  5. Our old vr put a rod thru the block, I move away from Surrey /Hampshire, and now someone like that moves in right on my old doorstep. Typical!
  6. I have just sent a follow up email to auto acoustics. It looks like the prices have gone down since I last looked!
  7. What are the implications of fitting this altered final drive? Where do I source the parts? How long/much does it take to fit? ?! What acceleration benefits can I expect? !amazed What fuel economy disbenefit can I expect? !dodge Cheers
  8. Bite the bullet mate, raise it! As for arch rolling in Nottingham? Don't know, but I know of two places in Sydney!
  9. I have just found a great place to get the VR serviced and tuned. Really helpful and friendly guy, plus knows all about vw's audis and chipping by apr. The location should be well handy for most of you guys. Ask for Derek. http://www.europeanautotech.com.au/ !lol
  10. It's on dodgy clips and the best way to sort it out appears to be removing the door card ans squeezing/pushing the clips. The clips are well dodgy, and if you put another one on, supplement the clips with a smidge of contact adhaesive, checking first that it isnt a paint-eater.
  11. Remove the silly graphics and the red-wall tyres and SOLD to me.
  12. I got my girlfriend to photograph me while I was cornering like a bastard. I was amazed the body flexed that much too! Photoshop elements. the free one!
  13. I'll take the Jetta as a 4.2 V8 Autobahn , or supercharged v6. That could solve a big vw problem - once you outgrow the hatches, they don't offer the next step in the ladder - not that I'm there yet -the missing high powered coupe, so off everyone trots to BMW for an M3....
  14. This series of pics has been around the net for a bit, and the foot thing is an urban myth it seems. No one can see a foot in the pic with the circle drawn on it. And it waa one car crash - I wonder how - yet that loose tyre seems a bit crap - and thin for the Enzo....maybe therin lies the problem! (plus 157 mph - another part of the on board data logger urban myth).
  15. I've actually seen a Commodore SS Ute over here with shizzle fo'sho bling razzle dazzle wheels with rubber bands for tyres - on bloody building site - which he had, as the chavs say, slammed, innit. The end result was a buckled front wing. Can you imagine?
  16. They should suit the car, and will allow plenty of room for brakes!
  17. Oi! I started off with a Pug 106 and then a saxo - free insurance you see! Mk 4 polo is a solid little car. A friend had a 1.0 !amazed which was fully deadened with dynamat soundpaint throughout. Could'nt tell the engine was running, but the performance gave that impression too..... Someone has to put a 3.2 v6 in the back of a mk 1 polo. Sod it, make it a W12.
  18. Nah, isn't growing on me. Gimme a MK4 R32 long before one of them.
  19. If I was the puddle, I would have bitten too!
  20. She clearly has good taste in number of doors/style of wheel. She beat you right?
  21. I don't think this will be a mechanical problem...unless it falls off! !lol

  23. I just dont feel warm and fuzzy about losing rubber by rubbing - ooo errrr... but in all fairness, a blowout would be a pretty average experience. Having seen your photos pittuf, perhaps my drop is the same as /close to yours. There is no rubbing on the inside - I think - just the outside. Should have got 7" wide wheels!
