    Go for Quantum Synta Silver 10w40 (semi synthetic) - from GSF or VW - much better. Avoid fully synthetic as its too thin.

    Mark here, had the black E36 M3 on the rollers on Sun. Everything you need to know can be found at e36coupe.com This is my second E36 M3. I've purposely avoided the Evo due to the VANOS issue. I've had 2 ZM Coupes, one of which had the VANOS done twice under warranty in the space of 12 months, although I'm sure some of this was down to Main Stealers cashing in on a known problem and taking the p*ss out of BMW UK .     Cheers Pete, been looking at the OMP braces think I might go for them... have you got front only or front and rear? my cousin is a bit of a track nut and suggested uprated top mounts, wondered if anyone on here had also... Bonrath do some http://www.modworld.1st-hosting.co.uk/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=821_822&products_id=2242 though I might just get new OEM for piece of mind as you say...
