    ive had that before its not that, it a definate airflow problem. As in my mpg on the same run i had done b4 I went from 34.1 to 30.1mpg. New filter is definatly either getting to much hot air or its the wrong length.

    it ran the same when i had the viper on there, but now with the cone, it struggles about 5500rpm. Anythinh to do with the shortening of the distance between the cone and MAF?

    it does yes, but it lets through way to much dirt and stuff, we are talking little stones at the MAF side. And a bootfull of oily dirt. havent checked if it gets hot, but surely it aint gonna get as hot as a rubber one?

    i have recently changed air filters and a few other things, I have found that I have lost about 10hp minimum. I went from a none filtering ViperX ramair induction system to a cone type system. Now the cone really filters well so more restrictive up top end. Now is this because its sucking in to much hot air?? Its not a shielded cone as yet, and it has only 1 80mm cold air feed to it. If i section it off, and give it another source of cold air will the power pick back up? Also, I have changed the rubber boot thingy for a mandrel bent s/steel one.     sounds like earth problem, what you want to do is earth it to the l/h/s of the boot. Rip off that foam stuff and there is a pannel behind there just waiting to be drilled and rubbed down to make an earth. Same on r/h/s, but near the fuel pipe so be carefull

    bugger me i think ill bid on them.... J/K the answer is yes!!!!! you can get the 4" up in the dash, in place of the tweaters. 6 1/2's in the door will sound sweet! Good buy that!

    so the higher the offset the closer to the strut they are? The lower the number the further out they stick?
