Did wonder about the spacing, but thought id be risking it a bit. May get some silver on black plates with spacing for shows too. What does everybody think? [ Edited Sun Jan 09 2005, 08:44PM ]
If I did that then I would want to chage the size of the recess. If I did that I wouldnt be able to fit my road legal plates with the proper spacing and GB badges.
Claire if somebody else wants my place then they can have it. If we are short on numbers on the day then I will go on but considering nothing has changed on my VR since last time and the price has gone up to £25 I will let somebody else have my place.
I suspect OBD2 mods were mainly to do with emissions controls, as has been said more sensors and better control with improved throttle body. Mainly for the american market I think as they are hotter on there emissions over there.
18's could fit with the right tyre combination and very little lowering but you would completely ruin the handling if im not mistaken. Best comprimise is 16's and low. :-) BTW with a user name like yours are you a 'boarder? :-)
The throttle body side of the inlet manifold is the only difference between OBD1/2 inlet manifolds. Due to different throttle bodies. Found this out when I got an inlet manifold polished and it turned out to be OBD1 so wouldnt fit mine. :-(
I recon its to do with the vents that are closed when the recirculation button is pressed, hence my question above. :-) Not sure where the vents are at the front.
And I was thinking I was going mad!!! Seem to get that same coldness around the gear stick area. Do you get the same problem if you have recirculation on?
Wont be going up to the DVLA office until after christmas yet as the documents havnt come through yet. Was also looking at N12E VR and also R12H VR, but thought R4W VR was better as its a bit shorter. :-)
