Golf wheels should have an offset of 35. Therefore if the wheels I want have an offset of 40, I will need 5mm spacers to bring it back out to the correct position. Or better still have those spacers that go behind the hub to reduce wheel bearing strain. Cheers

Well, I think my best mod so far has been the extra weight reduction in the windscreen due to stone chips.....:-p

Well, after a brief online/forum sabatical, i'm glad to say i'm back again. You will all be glad to know I have been busy whilst i've been away and have done a few mods to me mota, piccies to follow Unfortunately I still have the venoms tho, although, I am taking steps today to get them changed (finally!!) and hope to have a new set of wheels, assuming they fit, on soon. How is everyone then? (who is gonna be the first and say I didn't know you had been gone )

cool. my nearside headlight has got a hole in it and is all steamed up so i need to replace it (get newer better ones :-p)) before my mot in April, just wanted to make sure i can still do the hid conversion :-)

Ok, just done a quick investigation and found that the ring is just a glowing tube. So am I correct in thinking that a HID converstion will work as the normal beams and full beams are just standard lights?

So i'm putting it here. How do Angel Eye headlights work? (Thicko question I know) Do they just have normal bulbs and a special lense to get the halo? Leading to the question, will the HID converstion work with them? I'm gonna do a search on the net as well, but I thought i'd get your expert opinions as well :-)

I'm leaning more towards the second ones at the mo....just like the centre caps on the first ones better.....they are both league so maybe they are interchangeable???

lol....yep its finally time to get rid of them....altho the chances of getting any money for em is pretty low so I might keep em as winter wheels.....might paint em like Tommy did with his 16valve wheels.

I think they look sweet on dark cars. Only thing to worry about is the rozzers stopping you :-(
