  3. Mr car is silver, P reg with angel headlights, full exhaust system and lowered all round 40mm........81k on the clock with near full history.....
  4. I take it that the main problems are with the engine/gearbox. the car im getting is getting another engine put in from a 97 car and also has a recon gearbox.......would this be ok if everything else on the car is ok cheers again
  5. Well im swapping it from a mate who owns a garage, just thinking about a straight swap.......the vr itself has just over a 100k on the clock and has a recon box going in.....as well as the engine
  6. Im thinking of swapping my VTS for a golf VR6, k Reg with 100,000 miles and a newish engine going in. Generally the car is in good condition......just wondering what the problems with VR6's are.. Do you think it would be worthwhile me doing the swap.. Cheers Lee
