  1. lol.......you're blingmeister too! The chargers so shiney, it's gonna stick out like a sore thumb in my engine bay!! Ahh well....hardship i suppose

  3. Yeah, it seems a far superior design to the last one that was one it. No, they were the same pulleys as when i sent it over.
  4. After months of trying to sort the oil leak on my charger, i've finally got it back from Z Engineering.....and all I can say is WOW!!! It was definately worth the wait! It's had a complete new rear section including oil seals, so pretty much completely overhauled. It'll be going back on the old girl at the weekend along with some rather nice carbon fibre elbows and hopefully the nice shiney Bailey Piston DV that's currently sitting in the boot!! Fingers crossed!! [ Edited ]
  5. Try to do it once a week....bit sometimes once a fortnight.
  6. lol Times don't really mean a thing when equalled to the real time on road performance of a car. Different cars perform at diffrent levels throughout the rev range. My friends old 200bhp Ibiza Cupra would lay down 14.4, 14.5 all day long at the pod, where as i could only do a 15.1 in my old Highline, but on the open road and after 70mph the big VR would real him in easy. Horses for courses really......and we all know that the VR is not really a sprint car. Nice times though Si
  7. LOL....didn't even relaise you took any pics!!
  8. That just about sums it up really. Once you get them rolling the rev counter flies upto the redline in every gear and you're doing 3 figure speeds extremely quickly! (On a private stretch of road you understand )
  9. Don't know why there's so much hype surrounding them tbh. Have come up against them in both the VR and me old Ibiza, and both times they were dispatched without much fuss.
  10. Yeah....one floor in that plan...and that's TRACTION!!! You don't get any in 1st, 2nd or most of 3rd with the charger!!
  11. Hopefully i'll be able to tell you after GTI Festival at the Pod on the 24th Reckon you're looking at low 14s for a very good run.
  12. Cheers dude.....be down yours in a bit
  13. During the winter the engine bay had got extremely dirty, and with the show season rapidly approaching, i thought i'd better pull my finger out and do something about it!! Since i've sold the Schrick and reverted back to the standard manifold, i've been wanting to put the standard engine covers back on, as the engine looks quite ugly imo without them. Dubloke, kindly sent me a spare set as i didn't have any. I decided to give them a different look, and with the help of Tommy yesterday, we gave them a good spray over with a secret mix of paint The pics don't do the colour justice, but you'll
  14. I've never got 300 miles to the tank......ever! Without the charger, i get around 230 miles....with....i'm getting 200miles if i'm lucky!
  15. lol.....it's a good 2 1/2 hours to Stealth from ours....and that's not a conservative drive either
