    I want to keep the schrick, so a turbo is out of the question, supercharge route i think!

    my problem could be the pressure switch on the air con thats causing this. I'll look into getting it replaced.

    I'm thinking of once I'ev got my ABS/Air Con sorted etc... of going down the forced induction route. a couple of newbiee questions here... 1) What's generally more reliable, Turbo or Super Charger? 2) I haven't seen any VR's with a Schrick and a Turbo before, can it be done? 3) What else do I need to do to the engine to go down either route? 4) Expected cost and power out puts for both?     the covers are off earlier VR6's and corrado's, ive just got one and have polished it up also. i'll post pics wen it's all on my car too

    operates at a lower termperature im lead to beleive, so should make the car run lower temp, if mina has one it must be good lol

    stat are £20 quid, got it from awsome GTI, if your a premium member, check the premium member section for info on gettin 10% off the retail price.

    i had a leak on me stat housing, it was just the seals that needed doing, while your at it, replace the stat with a nuspeed one if you havent already done so.

    lo, it's a bank statment I used Ferropol Engineering of stoke-on-trent, 01782 329348 It cost me £30 for cam cover (lots of fiddly bits) and £15 for my strut brace! Pete

    I've had no problems before on might when i RR'ed it at mikanics.... 30 other Vr's rolled last time so I dont see a problem. probably just gets confused the sensors do...

    where is the VIN number located? I'm after an ABS ECU, but the one ive found is a revision A, need to find out if it's compatable with the ABS pump i have on now as i might have a revsion C ecu on mine.

    just bought the strut brace, taking it to be polished on monday. tested it loosely before i bought it and it appears to clear everything.

    907 379 A looks to be the ECU, however the part # has been revised to a C, does anyone know owt bout this?

    Im about to buy an Eibach Upper Strut Brace, it says it fits all mk3's, will I have any problems bcos I've got Air-con, and a schrick.. Cheers Pete
