Sounds to me as tho it's getting too much fuel on warm start ups. The coolant temperature sensor sends information to the ecu for it to analyse what sort of a fuel/air mixture to use dependant on engine temp. Could be that the car is trying to use a cold start procedure (more fuel less air, like a choke in older cars) when it's not needed. Now there's 2 sensors, one blue and one green if I remember correctly, one of which is a common failing point, that I've done in the past on one of my R32s but I can't for the life of me remember which one it is sorry. I'm inclined to say it the blue one.

I had it made, I came to the last big meet in surrey brooklands with it on nobody said owt, but if theres interest I prob could get them done at cost for the club ???

Still using any excuse just to go out and drive the thing some blurb and pics: For the benefit of some who asked about the stealth turbo: Firtly, I must say the level of service is top notch and I can't recommend the stealth guys enough. Vince and co spent a long time explaining everything that had been done, the reasons why and how to maintain the vehicle, recommending the best plugs, oil, etc. it was obvious that a hell of a lot of work had gone in to the car, and IMO it represented excellent value for money if you're seriously considering turbo but don't feel
