six appeal 53
I have one form GPC, and it is better than that, but still not perfet in comparison to the original VW ones. But the rate I go through them its cheaper to keep with the GPC ones!

antera309 3
The "generic" aftermarket VR6 spoiler allows that 1/2 an inch in the centre so that it can be fitted to Mk2 (big bumper) models, where the bumper is about 1/2 inch narrower than the mk3.However, there shouldn't be any holes showing like in your picture. Check that it was fitted properly. If the fitting's OK, send it back and get it replaced. If the gap in the centre still bugs you, it's pretty straightforward to get some bumper filler in there, smooth it over and respray it.To be honest, unless you look closely, it's not that noticable. See my picture below right, which was taken 2m away from the car....[ Edited Mon May 10 2004, 02:31PM ]

MarkGolf 6
I had 4 from GSF and all of them were like that, after the second one, i cut a bit from the first one and covered the gap, looked shite, i eventually got a VAG one and its lasted for well over a year now!!! and my car is lower since the GFS ones! Worth getting!
antera309 3
Mine was from a local accessory shop, not GSF.By the sounds of it, GSF must buy up all the rejects....
