antera309 3
Does anyone know how to get recently sprayed paintwork mirror smooth? Is it possible to do without damaging the finish? What products do you have to use, and in what order?Any help greatly appreciated!
purple highline monster 0
you could get a body shop to mop over the laquer with farcela, whoever sprayed it should have done this though!, other than that try a Maguiars clay bar for £12 its probably worth a try! stockers 1
the best way depending on the finish, if its a rough lacquer finish i have gone over it with 1200 wet and dry, wash, then clay, polish with an orbital buffer then wax and buff with an orbital buffer.if you don't need to get rough lacquer off don't wet and dry just wash, clay, polish with an orbital buffer and finish with a good wax, then buff. it will come out like glass. antera309 3
Cool. The bodyshop already wet'n'dryed the lacquer, but only gave it a quick polish and didn't wax it.The clay gets rid of all the surface impurities prior to polishing, yes? What orbital polishers do you guys recommend?
