vdubgirl 3 Posted June 13, 2005 Report Share Posted June 13, 2005 Go out on a saturday night get bladdered get in in the early hours of sunday morning,manage to get out of bed on sunday and then get the car up to the body shop for Stage one of its makeover lol !lol Here we go then Stage 1The Outside !grr The Inside &| A bit more of the inside And because everyone keeps on asking why am I getting all this done as my car looks fine heres one of the reasons !ill !sad Will keep you all updated on the progress as its still not been completly stripped yet still got all the bumpers, windows and a few more mouldings to get off but I should have it back in a month or so all nice and shiney with a few little tweaks Link to post Share on other sites

All the windows are coming out before its resprayed so all the interior has had to be removed so it doesn't get dirty or damaged Link to post Share on other sites

purple highline monster 0 Posted June 13, 2005 Report Share Posted June 13, 2005 Yeah Good luck with the paint job, just make sure they put all the trim clips back inside or it will be as squeeky as hell in there !amazed ! never seen a rusty sill like that on a mk3 before? my rallye had started to go there but the vr seems?? sound, has anyone else encountered this? Are you having a full respray?How much is yours costing you?? I'm trying to price up for mine and was looking for a figure to aim for with the old piggy bank (or maybe Mr. Barclaycard will help) Any updates???Hope its going well... Mines being done by a friend who has a bodyshop and is a cash job so all the bodywork and paint etc is only going to cost £1000 !shy I'm forking out a bit more buy having all the windows removed so i have to pay some one else to do that job and I also need a brand new windscreen obviously because its being removed but I'm getting a top tint one to replace that I've got all the bits for it to be started on now so the next week the cars going to be prepped up and should be sprayed over the next two weeks 8) Cant wait to get it back I really miss the fuel bill lol Link to post Share on other sites
