Good luck Ben and all the Best.

Andrew - sorry to hear that' date=' got some new wheels lined up?[/quote']

yeah, thats reminds me...if anyone has a spare set of early bbs with legal tyres on do they wanna swap for a slightly shabby set of solitudes (not the ones on car, another set - or p/x with the good condition, and quality tyred ones that are on car)with legal tyres? i gonna put it back to 100% o.e. to sell.

'fraid not...although i could possibly afford an older scoob the running costs are just too much at the mo. one day though.

what i'm getting will be rwd, only have two seats, and be jap.

but have no fear, i will stick around on the site and only be a PM away from advice.

its not the probs i've had with it that are dirivng me away....its the fact that i finally got it to handle but that has ruined the ride. so i wanted a standard car with good handling.....only fwd (for the money) i could think of was the pug 306 gti-6, but i couldn't live with the build quality. rwd is more fun anyway, and the mr2 is a very nice car IMO so its the obvious choice. am a tad apprehensive as i've never driven mid engine on the road before (apart form a few test drives), and i know from track use they need serious respect or they can catch even experienced guys out...but i'll build up slowly and should be fine.
