well before the rain stopped play, the engine and subframe is out!!!!

stoked!!!! i havnt got an engine crane yet soi have to undothe suspension struts so i can pull the engine and subframe out.....

more work now lol

ipulled out both engine this morning.... so now i need an engine crane to get cracking on puttin the VR6 lump in the cabby!!!

well then, done some shoppin today....

scappies are amazing!!! full cream leather interior.... dirty but needs a clean - got it for £20..... :wub:

the color looks soooooooooo good against the brown of the car!!!!

i got more bits coming, 2 new rear wheel bearings, momo evo steering wheel, momo boss, momo handbrake handle and momo cream leather gaiters.

happy days!!!

Youll be fine chap.. The mk3 cab is a fairly straight forward conversion and as has been mentioned before u got a whole donor car so you will have every thing u need!!

Patience is whats needed not huge skills! Keep it up and it wont take much longer :)

Thanks buddy, iangti on here is being a ledge and really helping out alot over the phone and stuff such a wicked lad!!!

so tomorrow.... i am hoping to have the looms swapped over, the cable changed, throttle cable all changed and the engine plumed up and in :)

fingers crossed!!!

so then, a little recap what left to do:

gear linkage change on both cars

loom swap

clutch peddle swap

throttle cable swap

immob swap

exhaust swap

rear brake swap

^^^^^tryn get that lot done today if i can

and then bolt the engine n sub frame in. plub up sorted.

well, vertually completed the list, only thing i didnt do was rear brake swap as the wheel bearings didnt turn up....

so engines in and bolted up, looms been swapped INC headlight loom. hydro clutch is done, throttle cable is done, exhaust is done, gear linkage swapped, fortunatly, the vr hasnt got an immob... yewwww

so happy :)

I know there mostly a emissions thing but I found that's the bike was very slow picking up the revs between 1 - 5k but it's all working now and feels 100x better, just the starting when hot problem to fix now (next Saturday will be spend checking vavle clearances)

Anyway back to topic lol

WELL, CHANGED THE RELAYS OVER, CHANGED THE FUEL LINES OVER AND CONNECTED UP THE STARTER LEADS ETC

AND....

SHE.........

LLLLIIIVVVVVEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS........

sooo stoked!!!!

was so nervous!!!!! i hate the "testing" bit!! drives e fooking insane!

but so glad it fires up n starts....

PS can anyone tell me what the feed and return for the full lines on the engine???

i got the top line for the feed and bottom line for the return but seams like it's leaking....
