you'll probably get similar results but the unichip although more expensive initially can then be remapped for the cost of rr time (about £40 an hour) so if you plan on doing more engine mods thats the one to go for... wither that or leave the remap till last

stealth use dastek and iv heard some dodgythings about amd fiddling the tranny loss to gain phantom bhp personally id goto stealth but having said that iv just had an off the shelf powerchip fitted by collins perfomance engineering in congleton cheshire for £176 all in took about 1 hour and initial reaction is it seems a bit quicker deffo smoothed out the flat spot at 4-5k revs due too the schrick and also the mpg stayed suprisingly high but that may not last lol

like justin says, the dastek is a piggy back so although initial expense is high compared to "off the shelf" chips it does cut costs when more mods are added as it only requires a rr session to re-map it, not a complete new chip! i cant see how an "off the shelf" chip can work well with a vgi either tbh?

do collins do rolling road chip tuning then or do they give you a chip and hope for the best?

if its an off the shelf chip I think they just plug them in and off u go... not a good idea for a modded engine I wouldnt think

Im having a dastek fitted on thursday at engine advantages in essex
