cabrioman 6 Posted October 3, 2009 Report Share Posted October 3, 2009 well looms are sorted and the lighting loom is now sepearte from the old engine loom, new vr loom is in, just had to pop out and get a few last bits and found a rado in a scrappies 8o|:-d have just dropped the tank and fluishing out now, pics will follow later tonite .... J5KE F 0 Posted October 5, 2009 Author Report Share Posted October 5, 2009 Well, thanks Tony for a long but productive weekend!26 hrs of hard slog, but we now have a 2.9 sat in the caddy van all be it 95% complete.. at leats i have 4 weeks or so to recover before the next bit!a 10mm socket and a dremmel damaged finger isnt really that bad, considering what we have achieved!I'm halfway across the country at the moment, and will be in scotland tomorrow, Irealand weds and thurs, and wales on friday. i'll try and get back to that rado for those bits for u guys when i return..here are the last few pics! J5KE F 0 Posted October 5, 2009 Author Report Share Posted October 5, 2009 Na, just the van had a foofed gearbox and would have cost not far less than the conversion!The van is a 'float van' for when one of the others is in being serviced or such like.. so it kinda made sence to play with we also have our own track support vehicle now!
