i could get half a dozen drivers to make up the numbers my end.

personally I think we should try and stick to one at the mo and we can always find a nice local campsite and turn it into an overnight thing !! :) as long as it's reasonably central it should be ok

Try the track at Rye House (Hoddesdon), i used to work there when it was called Deavinsons Leisure. Dont know what its called now.........as with anything it is quite expensive but the more people you can get to go the cheaper it'll be.......i also knew the manager at the milton keynes one dont know if he still works there he's name is dave saville......... :-#

Right have been on the case this morning and have a few options!!

Most places gave me two options with some variation...

1. GP where you get some time to practice 5-15mins then a number of laps to complete usually 5-10 karts on track at one time depending on size of the circuit. There is also a presentation to top 3 some charge extra for prizes most include it.

2. Endurance where you get practice and a set time to compete ranges between 1 hour & 3 hours. In teams of 2 -4 and there is a presentation to the team that completes most laps at the end. Price for this is per team so brings the cost down a little.

Below I've listed the prices of the 2 options GP then endurance per driver or per team. These are the prices I've been given on the phone, once we've decided and know numbers this could be haggled down I hope...

well i have a thought or 2 on this.... I am London based so most midlands and south are ok for me... So are there two events North and South???

I like the idea of a team as that way you get to have a good race and overtake people as well as have fun. The fact that you are in a team always adds an edge to it so that there is always a mixed ability rather than just those who have raced for a living vs those who have never had a go before... The endurance is always a giggle as you usually get to race for much longer than a gp event.

I like the idea of a team price as that way you can set it up with mates so as the cost doesnt become to high and you have someone to keep you awake on the way home after..

I have had a go on a couple of tracks and the chance to run on longer tracks is the way forwards every time...

Finally how about the chance to suggest the top three then maybe a visit just to check the facilities is in order???

seem the obvious choices to me although I have only read through once quickly....

I've tried to put a range countrywide to give people a choice & see what comes back, given the numbers I think this will be one event

top 3 is a good idea... Birmingham guy said feel free to pop in and have a look, most of the websites are pretty good but a visit would be better

I think an endurance race is the way to go we can balance out the teams to avoid weight advantages ;-)

I'd go endurance, done before and more fun all round I reckon. MK always gets good reviews but I'm happy to travel most places, good excuse to drive the VR

Team relay event for teams of 2-10 drivers in a

attend a drivers briefing followed by practice.

Qualifying for grid positions may be incorporated into

practice. After practice each team nominates a driver to

many driver changes to make and when to refuel. Race

lengths can be tailored to suit your individual or group

requirements in exclusive events. Races maybe run from

30 minutes up to 24 hrs in length.
