how it stands now is like this. After cracking a rallye headlight i had to buy another front end for the time being.

Plans for 2009 are new wheels 15s bbs rms hopefullysome chroming under the bonnet, cams and a remap its getting spark plugs and a coilpack tomorrow, and rallye front going back on.

then the front end came off

then the pile of parts started to get bigger

after disconnecting everything it was time to take it out

found a small bit of rust there is a few bits to be touched up and sorted out in the engine bay

this needs replacing with a 6 branch managed to snap the bolts on it

so then with the van my engine went to Bens work to be stripped

started boxing up the parts and labelling all the nuts and bolts

I have some piston slack so may need pistons not sure yet but i will be poor lol damn vr engine

I found it suprisingly easy was really pleased with myself learnt alot.

def putting the 6 branch on when its back should be running like a beast

woo hoo nice one can't wait to get mine on, keep seeing it sat in the corner of my living room taunting me !! hopefully by mid next month should all be on :)

cheer. Not really yr creation anymore it was lol but alot has been done since.

I like the rallye front just scared to run it at the mo as i cracked a headlight beofre and it was annyoting and expensive so wanting to make up some kind of headlight protectors before i put it on

was gona try make some out of acrylic and velcro them on or something

you could do but it will probably look pants..... i hate stone chips, you should stop tailgating people :o lol

this is prity much how i wanted my mk2, but id change the rear lights and can't make my mind up about smoothed door handles.

ever thought about a bmw top fill rad? would really finish off the bay

yeah have thought about those rads cash is tight at the mo so maybe in the future.

i have got 3 sets of rear lights so swap between them if i get bored same as front ends.

kinda wish i hdnt got smoothed handles can be a pain and i get scared the battery will go flat
