Cuske 0
I'm looking at getting a few more horses out of my motor, 250-300ish. It's a 2.9 and at the minute it's had the head ported & polished, got a 6 branch manifold, decat, Schimmel 263 degree cams, shrick inlet manifold and a BMC CDA. I haven't had it all fitted and mapped yet and it's going to be a bit of a treck to wherever I take it so would like to sort it out the first time. Does anyone know what the best thing is for me to do, what bhp it would make and how much it'd cost??
cabrioman 6
get it all fitted first then go to vince at stealth to get it mapped or try C2 .... prob be nearer the under 250 rather than 300 ... only normaly get 250 plus from a charger or turbo
H13VYY 0
my guess would be 225bhp.
Dave Lea 4
220 is what i am hoping 4 with the same mods and c2
Cuske 0
So it's going to need charging to get 250+, I figured as much but what's the best way to go for the money. Also, where abouts are C2 based?
xyber 1
ive got vf on mine, but if i did it all again id definatly go wit a Rotrex kit
Cuske 0
Ideally I'd love to go with a rotrex, but am looking for a cheaper option, turbo's look the cheaper but I haven't got a clue what to get.
craggsy 91
hmmmm rotrex
H13VYY 0
would you go rotrex only due to the fact that you can achieve more power? or does the rotrex kick in earlier? better power delivery?
xyber 1
They are basically better all round, better performance at lower psi, more usable lower down, smaller and no belt slip
