anorak 0
Hi,As above, I'm after your opinions.Think I've just sold the MK2 &| but been offered a MK3 as a part ex. The spec is;1997 P reg 3 door VR682000 miles with FSH17" BBS RC's (same as mine - look good on a 3 as well)MK4 headlightsVytec suspension ?! (25mm drop)Clean apart from bubbling at rear wheelarch and 3" scratch on door trim.Chap is after £5400 with the BBS rims or £4700 withoutDoes that sound about right?Any help is greatly appreciated Oh, and it's black so won't look out of place on the club stand [ Edited ][ Edited ]
vdubgirl 3
Oh' date=' and it's black so won't look out of place on the club stand [/quote']PMSL at that comment In my opinion i recon its priced about right maybe a little over the top but those wheels are worth a mint so it would be up to you to either save some money and get it without the wheels and put a cheaper set on or pay a litle more and get it with those wheels on Either way I still wouldn't want to be in your position having to part with that little beauty
binliner 0
whats the interior like? leather or cloth?
anorak 0
Cloth inside - neat and tidy.No air con. Standard brakes. Dirty engine bay And yeh - it'd have to keep the RC's on. Are they worth £700 secondhand (1 year old)?
tommy 0
it sounds a little bit high to me the car sound more like £4000 -£4500 with wheels but its always hard without seeing it first hand!
tommy 0
the rc's if mint with good tyres may go for that second hand on ebay but i would think £600 max!
tandino 1
Overpriced imho - that car is worth about £3500 tops in my book.....You are well into Highline money around that figure - A/C and Leather are a must to lift the plain looking cloth cabin imo..As others have said the BBS RC's although a nice wheel are not the be all and end all - you can pick up a set of BBS RS splits for that sort of money on Ebay - the wheel of choice 8o)
Pittuf 0
Agreed, a little high especially as its not a highline, but then again I paid a shed load for mine.I'd say don't rush in and look around bit more.
acf8181 0
yeah, i reckon its over priced as well...£3500-£4000 IMO.for £5400 i'd want it to be perfect bodywork wise, and to have leather and air-con.
blackburnvr6 0
the car is worth as much as you want to pay i payed a bit over for mine L 93 in august last year paid 4400 for it but full vwsh no prev owners and 39000 miles up to you if you like it get it !!!
acf8181 0
well, if you're gonna pay over the odds (i wouldn't advise it though), make sure you get agreed value insurance. cause if someone rear ends you and writes it off their insurance co will only pay up the book value. blackburnvr6 0
true this is a problem we all face our cars are worth more than what they want to pay us
acf8181 0
or rather we think are cars are worth more than they are in reality.
