Your 2008 plans for your VR's

Currently have to fit:-

Vibratechnic engine mounts all round

New seat belts

Headlights/rearlights

Fit mirrors

Fit new door handles

To purchase:-

Coilovers

Powerflex bushes front and rear

Replace small broken interior plastic parts

Front fogs and indicators

Want to do depending on time/funds:-

Chrome

Sort leather seats out

Refurb wheels

Poss this year:-

A new set of wheels?

Charger??

Bodywork?

Oh and give it a damn good clean inside and out when weather gets better...

I dont have any plans for mine really, just keep it polished and looking sweeeeet :)

I am still seriously hankering after another Rallye golf though :) with the funds i could raise from the VR and the BBS RS`s i could probably get a minty G60`d mk1, now that would be hyper cool.....but the "sensible" head says keep the VR6........

Would like to make the Nordschleif sometime this year, still waiting on getting my license back (long story). Bit of a trek as well from Stuttgart but should definitely be fun to meet up with some of you guys. If not then def E38 '08 will be my 3rd time this year if all goes well! :)

And then i considder myself finnished . . . . oh and polished Intake + making the engine compartment beautifull.

But who knows. If I find a smooth recaro interiour on the bay then I guess i have to go on a road trip to get it.

My list goes something like this:

Wheels re-furbed (booked)

Maybe a set of nice 16's if i can find some!

Re-spray (booked)

Some smoothing (booked)

A few engine bay goodies

New dials and a few other interior bits n bobs

Bigger brakes

Finish off the Alpine install

Get new M3 rear lights and hopefully stop this bloody leak!!

got a big list of things i wnat to do but might take a few years lol

pull out and smooth arches more

fit new front splitter

smooth bumpers and get rid of fogs/indicators and fit a one off smaller indicator in front of bumper

smaller mirrors, with custom led's in edge for indicator

slight tint in windows

repolish the alloys lips, poss spray centres diff colour and get new gold bolts

fit boot popper

new exhaust and down pipe/manifold

supercharge stage 2

lots of chrome enginew parts

leather interior, not sure what sort of seats yet or what colour

thats about all i can think of just now
