nivag27 5
I have already booked my car in the body shop for tuesday next week, he said he is going to do the bonnet and wings and i also asked if he could just touch up my back bumper and he said he would do the hole thing so I will probably do alright out of it in the end, just hope he does a good job. I stayed very calm didnt loose my temper and started this thread sraight after. But as hvr6 said its not nice spending loads of money on ya motor when some careless gizzer does this he even caught the wing with his rachet and then said after i pulled him up what its only that bit. And I will be without my car for three days next week and cannot pick my six year old daughter up from school. But you are intitalled to your opinion.[/quote']
andy 0
I've had two sets of problems with Autoglass (Portsmouth). They pulled a load of laquer off my Golf wing and A-pillar, and they cocked my Corrado up really badly, they had to fit another screen and replace abot 5 or 6 trim panels that they broke. I despise them. Glass everywhere, sealant everywhere, my interior panels around the screen have still got knife marks in them from where they removed the previous screen. I caught the guy supergluing the rubber outer seal in where it was such a bad fit that it kept popping out.

purple highline monster 0
Yeah i would have to say some of these people are real dinlows......if he was at a porsche dealership or some rich guys gravel drive doing a Ferrari would he have been so careless? he may have admitted it but would he if it were less visible? even if they pay it dont stop the agro of getting it sorted, i wouldnt pay for the screen either, fooking clowns! jesterwalker69 0
that sucks' date=' least they sorted it... wont be using them now[/quote']No disrespect to you guys who have had problems but you are probably just a few out of thousands of happy customers who have had screens fitted. U guys telling us about ur problems is fair enough but people cant say they are going to stop using a company just coz a couple of people have had problems. Especially when the company makes sure it solves the problem in most circumstances.I have had 2 screens and one repair by them and they have been spot on. I will say however that they left a bit of mess in the car on the 2nd screen, but nothing a quick hoover wouldnt solve!I wont stop using them just because u guys were unlucky and had a couple of fools fitting your screen and neither should anyone else really. (apart from maybe Andy and GaVR6in!!) lol
vr6madmike 0
Not all autoglass technicians will be so careless you always get a few people in a company that dont take pride in their work and you always get a few that do so its just luck of the draw really,
