VRmonster 1
Hey, check out my new runaround, a 1.8 driver (gti wannabe) for work and recreation while i fix and mod the vr. Shes slammed 90mm, on 16" alloys (mania rvr2's i think...) with exhaust, induction kit, big bumpers, single headlights and grille, smoked rear lights, and a magnex 6" oval exhaust. it looks like a right minter. and only for £.... not gonna tell you that, but it was cheaper than my scorpion exhaust system. lol.just gotta go pick it up from edinbrough when the dude phones me. what do yas think? VRmonster 1
this was dirt cheap for the condition its in. altho it needs wheel bearings, flexi brake hoses, and 2 new tyres for the mot. but its still a good deal.
VRmonster 1
lol, u could have told me that before i bought the driver claire, lol.
28v6r 0
Nice one ....But wait a minute :? ..... Is that a shadow on the rear panel, above the rear wheel (Offside) or a rather largish dent I spy?? hope it's not the latter...
VRmonster 1
yeah, it is a ripple, he told me about it on the phone, the car is mainly for driving on building sites, and the back is being boarded out to load cable into it (im an electrician). so im not too bothered about the few dents. as long as shes a runner, and looks pretty nice im happy. id expect it to be in better nick than my vr looking at these pics tho. knowing my luck tho, ill buy it and a week later itll fall to bits. lol

Geastb 0
looks good - looks like it has the g60 arches too.....think i might have to look into getting a mk2 for when mine goes off to be 'sorted'
VRmonster 1
i cant believe it, the guy im supposed to be buying it from has told me he wont take less than £550 for the car, even though i won the auction at £360. its not my fault he didnt put a reserve on it. considering it has no tax or mot its a bit awkward. hmm, were now discussing a price for the car if he had the mot done for me. its only a car for work too, so cant realy afford more than £600, lol. guess its not mine then. agghhh, some peoplejust p..... ok, calm now.[ Edited Fri Aug 13 2004, 03:07PM ]

nickbee 1
It's not a rule on selling cars, it's a rule on selling anything by ebay, or at any auction. An auction sale is legally binding. Report him.
VRmonster 1
yeah, but reporting him isnt going to get me the car is it, lol. it will just get him a warning from ebay. i cant see them making him sell the car for £360, lol. just waiting for a reply now. but still looking for clean but cheap mk2's till then. VR6Steve 0
Arse! If you get no joy, deffo report him to ebay. If thats the money he wanted for it he should have put a reserve on it! :-(
