sparkz 0
Some of you may remember that i picked up a mk1 golf for the grand sum of £50 about 8 months ago. When i picked it up, it looked like this.....[lightbox=../../e107_files/public/1171570961_839_FT0_10032006006.jpg][/lightbox][lightbox=../../e107_files/public/1171570961_839_FT0_10032006007.jpg][/lightbox][lightbox=../../e107_files/public/1171570961_839_FT0_10032006008.jpg][/lightbox]Well after a good wash n clean and adding a few extra touches like central locking, electric windows, etc a damn good t-cut, it now looks like this.....[lightbox=../../e107_files/public/1171570961_839_FT0_misc001_010.jpg][/lightbox][lightbox=../../e107_files/public/1171570961_839_FT0_misc001_013.jpg][/lightbox][lightbox=../../e107_files/public/1171570961_839_FT0_misc001_014.jpg][/lightbox][lightbox=../../e107_files/public/1171570961_839_FT0_misc001_015.jpg][/lightbox]And im technically the 2nd owner from new with 91,000 miles on the clock!! The '2nd owner' had it for 5 years and it just sat on the driveway as he started to restore it for his younger brother for when he turned 18. When he became 18, he decided to go the motorbike route, so the guy lost interest in the mk1. I asked him what he wanted for the car. and he made the mistake of saying to me, 'make me an offer' I said, '£50' and he said 'yes!'. (At this point, i rang my dad straight away and told him to bring the tow bar as i wasnt going to leave this guys side at all )`Anyway, included in the £50 deal was the following:Brand new archesNew bumpersDebadged grillFull corrado interiorLowering springsNew pads, discsNew fuel tank pipe (as they always corrode)New front and rear headlightsArmoured doorplatesCan anyone beat this deal of the century???
