Ditched the VR- Quite Literally :(

Recommended Posts

On my way home last night from Torquay on the old Plymouth road between Avonwick and Totnes i found myself in a bit of bother. Doing about 50mph i came across a dear running in front of me, my first reaction was to avoid it, job done! Unfortunately i then found myself on a grass patch skidding towards the depths of nowhere...stuck the brakes and handbrake on but it did nothing. :( Next thing i know im in 20 degree ditch front end first in a tree and fence!

To say im gutted is an understatement, just before the respray was due too! Anyway, onwards and upwards, and least im ok!

Cost me £220 to get it back home, 4 hours i was stuck in the ditch! :(

Here are some pics of the damage:

Sorry to hear this mate :-(

I did exactly the same just over a year ago, but wasnt a deer that caught me out, just a dark 90 degree bend! Just think yourself lucky that the ditch wasnt full of water as mine was and luckily the engine survived.

Whats the inner wing like? Have you had a look under the bonnet yet? Does the engine run ok and does it drive fine?
