kalv 0 Posted January 14, 2007 Report Share Posted January 14, 2007 Finally a dry weekend, so made a trip to B&Q, got some grit paper from 60 through to 400 and attacked the manifold.. Turned out ok I think, bit more polish and paint the engine bay black and i'll be happy.. shoulders and elbow are killing me now! Link to post Share on other sites

Howmany times did you catch your knuckles on those bloody metal clips that hold cables to the slam pannel?!Grrrr.... those clips... plus it was cold aswell so didn't help.. pain in the rear getting behind the dip-stick... alot of graft but it looks a million times better so well worth it.. I will pop into Halfords on way home and have a butchers.. how many times did you apply to get the finish?One tip if you have a go yourself, try and clean your hands as much as possible when using the finer paper with WD-40 as I still got black bits in my fingers!
