purple highline monster 0
Very nice! i want!! what car they for mate? isnt the highline for saleCheers peeps, they are for my highline mate,it was for sale a month or so ago :-( but decided against getting the R32 at current market prices! and realised i love "old" volkswagens still so i bought theses rims from a guy in Germany for....£1500 :$ and a J reg Red Mk1 Sportline cabriolet to play with for the time being, I will wait for prices to drop a bit on the 32 and get one then, 10k is more realistic than 15k just because the current owner paid over the odds for it when it was new!!!, i didnt want all my money sitting in one car after all!!! vr6madmike 0
Lovely wheels to go on a lovely car! Wise decision with the R32 I really love them but would never pay that sort of money for one!
Jk* 0
Sex wee wheels. Bugger to cleaning them though! I wish i had that sort of money to throw around!
purple highline monster 0
he he, not with maguiars metal polish mate! its superb, a nice wash over a couple of times a week and they will stay in good nick, the money all came from equity from the sale of a house so thought i would treat myself! i am only a poor civil servant!! got a few other minor changes in the pipeline for the VR too, only subtle "old school" ones mind as i already love the way it looks, you dont see too many modded 5 doors around so that will make it a bit more unusual to see
Jk* 0
I wanted a 5 door, not only because they are slightly different when modded, but i needed it for practicality. But, i ended up getting a 3 door as the price was too good to refuse. Would consider swapping maybe oneday for a 5 door though.
Luke 0
I could never be trusted with a bling set of bbs wheels, look what i did with my ones :-( im sure kerbs are getting bigger :-* LOL :-d Jokes aside mate they are the most sexy wheels you could put on a mk3 thats slammed! Big thumbs up from me
purple highline monster 0
yeah these rims are definately going to avoid any kerb!!! at any speed i shall cry if they do :-( they are only 7 1/2 j wide so they dont stick out too far and the tyre isnt that stretched so the rim has a small chance of protection, i will just park so far from the kerb i will need to get a taxi to the pavement whenever i stop anywhere!!! purple highline monster 0
Just got an Original New old stock 3 spoke BBS steering wheel for my VR too,.....I must stop spending.....I must stop spending....NAH Not yet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! my plan is almost complete 3 more items and its finished MMMMUUUUAAAARRRGGGHHHHH
mike 6
thnk it wil be a while till u see r32 going for 10k? altho who knows
purple highline monster 0
when they 1st came out the motoring press predicted??? in 5 years the mk4 R32 would be 10k, the way the prices are going i dont think it will be too long before that happens,if you look at the prices of the VR6 Highline thet cost 23k for a 5 door in 96/97 the values remained strong for 3 years then began to fall, the 2nd owner of mine paid 10k for it when its was 5 years old the 3rd paid 7.5 k when it was 7 years old and i paid ????? when it was 9 years old, when it comes to car pricing sure vw`s hold their value but as the newer ones come out the previous model drops another few grand, so it is quite possible anyway we shall see when the time comes, i seriously like the the new GTI in white so maybe plans will change?????? happy with the vr and my sportline cabrio gti just longing for the summer months to get out and enjoy them both more
vr6highline28 0
i couldn't wait for an r32 so waited for the price to drop to a more sensible level - cant blame you for waiting a bit longer though the way i looked as it was that (with all the options included) mine cost £ 27k new so the first owner lost £ 10k in 3 years which is a lot to me ! r32 prices should fall when the golf r36 comes out next year though im pretty confident they will still hold strong (for good ones like 3 door which there arent that many of)as there are only 2k of them in the uk ! purple highline monster 0
Got my new old school BBS steering wheel today, arrived from Dubsport, new old stock still in its box! gonna look very nice on the car me thinks even though the photo makes it look different the small leather detail on the spokes is almost purple highline leather match! (gonna have to change my forum name to BBS MONSTER soon!) [lightbox=../../e107_files/public/1168021851_2067_FT150111_101_0179.jpg][/lightbox]
