Petesvw 0
Hmm, grant motorsport, do you wanna wait four months???I've got a grant stage two head and the workmanship is good! But the hassle and shite he span me over the four months before getting it, is enough to drive any one mad and i'm quite a patient person!Still not got all the bits as we speak! vr6turbo 27
i had an short engine rebuilt by andy to cut a very long story short it arrived with no oil pump drive shaft fitted, thats why i had no oil pressure!!!he appologised and cursed but i was not impressed, the engine he did rebuild lasted 6 thousand mailes and i had to strip it down and send it back to himit lasted another 4 thousand and i have now spun a bearingso its back to the drawing board.my experience has been bad with highflow heads, others may have had good experience,i had to wait for months to get the engine back. eip built one and sent it out to me before the one fron highflow heads was ready, everything i have said is true and i am not in the game of needlessly slagging people off for no reason
VRTrickster 0
Im getting a stage one head done at a place called the Cylinder Head Shop.Check his web site out it quite impressed me! The only trouble is he has moved over to southern Ireland now. He gets ANC to pick your head up and take it to Swansea where he collects it, carrys out the work and sends it back over from Ireland.I know it sounds like a lot of messing around but I think itll be worth it. Im going to spend about £500-£600 and that he said would get me a very good stage one with 5 angled inlets ,3 angled exhaust, port polish and bronze stem liners! He only comes over to England every 10 days so your looking at a month wait maximum. http://www.cylinderheadshop.co.uk/
