VR6_Absy 0
General Malarky is perhaps not the most appropriate place for this post, in my opinion.BBC news is saying he has suffered severe brain injury but is expected to make a full recovery.I ain't no brain surgeon but that statement don't sound right ......... hopefully i'm reading into it too much.We hope he has a full and speedy recovery. goonersteve 0
As of today, docs are saying he is "making satisfactory progress" and "He has seen some improvement overnight, but remains in a serious but stable condition." :-| Fingers crossed for him and his family / friends
crish72 0
At least he's out of intensive care :-)Had to laugh at the quote from Clarkson i've just heard on radio, Hamster briefly came round and Clarkson said to him "You crashed because you're a crap driver" :-)Chris
purple highline monster 0
I was in Cirensester church yesterday (Hampsters home town), i lit a candle and asked for a prayer to be said and maybe its working???, i have a relative who suffered a simmilar fate from a bike crash, he went from nearly having the life support machine switched off to making a complete recovery! apart from being a bit forgetfull he is as sane as me! he is getting the best medical care available and i wish him well (au)

simey 0
I wish Hamster a full recovery but head injures are extremely serious and complex as most people are aware. When I had my accident my head blew up a balloon, this is the bodies natural defensive to protect the head. It took 5 days for the swelling to go down & spent 2 weeks in ITU.Hamster is showing good signs as already out of ITU, I know they have drugs to stop the swelling. Once all swelling has gone down any damage will show, hopefully none. All thoughts to family & close friends
matth76 1
If you type BBC News in Google and go to the bbc site it has up to date info. Says he has been having conversations etc and James May said he is just the same and fully intact inside.I agree with above and hope this doesn't put him off at all.
